Back in NZ

I'm back in New Zealand and I have been for 3 weeks as of today. I thought I would just give a quick update since its been a while.

I got back and was straight back into work at school. I had one week where I was catching up on everything I'd missed and studying for two weeks of exams. I submitted two assignments and sat 3 tests in that week. Mixed feelings about it, I had been averaging in the 80's for everything before I left, and having slacked off a little bit I found things tough getting back into it.

I got some results back from the year. I was stoked with Geotech - I was sitting on 76% for the first half of the year even before sitting a test worth 10%. When I got my marks back for the two assignments for Surveying, I had a 58% and an 80%. So the buildup to exams was pretty good, although the first week back was intense.

Exams went pretty good, I would have definitely passed everything but maybe not as well as I had hoped. So now its wait and see time.

I finished my last exam on Thursday last week so now I'm hunting for work for the summer. I'm considering doing a drug trial, but not too sure. It's paying $8500, 3500 before christmas and the rest at the end of the trial in march. Its a trial of an anti depression drug so I can't see it being dangerous. I'm just thinking that if its paying that much there may be a risk.
